About Mdm Ling Bakery

Famed for their wide range of cookies which were featured as one of the Top 5 CNY snacks on the Straits Times Food Critics’ Picks, Mdm Ling Bakery is a Singaporean bakery that offers homemade and unique Chinese baked goodies and snacks. Its three founders – Ken, Evelyn, and Hongyi – hail from illustrious corporate backgrounds and aim to bring the fuss-free experience of snacking at affordable prices. With just egg, sugar, flour, and some magic, Mdm Ling Bakery changes the pastry game with their unique recipes – baking homemade goodies all year round.

The Product Selection

At Mdm Ling Bakery, there’s always something for someone. The bakery offers a wide array of goodie selections which includes traditional fluffy Paus, savoury snacks, and sweet pastries fresh from the oven.  The bakery also offers Halal certified, vegetarian and vegan-friendly choices so everyone can join in the mouth-watering experience.

The Signature

Mdm Ling Bakery Signature Buns are a huge hit among locals and foreigners alike and it’s easy to see (or taste!) why. The selections include the Signature Premium Red Bean Buns (Tau Sar Pau), Ooze-worthy Salted Egg Yolk Lava Custard Bun (Liu Sha Pau), All-time favourite Lotus Paste Bun (Lian Rong Pau), and Otah Macaron Bun. Each bun has the perfect texture – soft and fluffy while filled to the brim with delicious paste so each bite contains red bean/custard/otah goodness. The condensed filling is smooth and not too sweet. The best part is that each bun is twice the size of your usual Bun! Perfect for both health-conscious foodies and people who enjoy paus, the Mdm Ling Bakery Signature Buns are a must-have for breakfast, tea, or dessert.

The Signature

Mdm Ling Bakery also has a sizable selection of Christmas and CNY cookies, all ready for the coming festive seasons. Each cookie dough is baked to perfection to get the right texture and flavour. Patrons can enjoy specially home-baked goodies such as the traditional Asian kueh with a twist, Western-inspired cookies, and more. Unsalted SCS butter is used to ensure complete control of the overall flavor and quality of the recipes and so fret not, every batch is the same delectable snacking experience!

One of Mdm Ling Bakery’s well-loved choices is the Premium Pineapple Ball, a traditional shortcrust tart shaped like a ball with pineapple jam in the center. Its buttery and flaky outside pairs deliciously with its tangy and sweet filling.

Chocolate lovers are in luck as they can pick between Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Chocolate Almond Cookies or Molten Chocolate cookies based on their fancies (In fact, why not both?). Lightly salted as per the name, the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Chocolate Almond Cookies balance the sweetness and richness of the chocolate with the saltiness of the Himalayan Sea Salt. For that extra crunch and texture, thin slices of almonds are added to the mix. Meanwhile, the Molten Chocolate cookies are akin to a rich crispy brownie with a gooey center and pools of molten Belgium dark chocolate

Mdm Lim Bakery doesn’t limit itself to just local treats! For more Western-inspired cookies, you have choices such as New Zealand’s Premium Anchor Butter Cookies. Made from 100% New Zealand Milk, this buttery goodness melts in your mouth. The cookies are soft and crumbly so make sure you pop them in your mouth quickly!

If you’re looking for something closer to home, the Premium Kueh Bangkit is a delightful throwback to our childhood days of munching on kueh. With its rich coconut extract and melt-in-your-mouth texture, you’ll finish the entire container in no time. For a morning pick me up, have a side of Kopi Siew Dai cookies with your cup of tea or coffee for breakfast and tea time. These toasted brown cookies have just the perfect amount of sweetness to balance the slight bitterness of the coffee-infused pastry. This way, there’s no need to “tambah gula” to your accompanying tea or coffee!
