About Le Cafe Confectionery & Pastry

‘Age like a fine wine’ is the best word that can describe Le Cafe Confectionery & Pastry. As one of Singapore’s oldest pastry shops, they serve pastries with the best quality by keeping full crafting by hand without pork or lard. Their sincere and perseverance in making the products to have unique taste and high quality make their reputation grow day by day. The long journey started in 1949, where they opened an eating house that served Chinese food (tze char), cakes, pastries, and drinks in David Elias Building

As time went by, in 1975, the eating house started to operate as a cafe with focus on Buttercream Cakes, Cream Puffs, Swiss Roll, Apple Strudel, Chicken Pies, Cheese Sticks etc. In the 1990s, they once again changed their focus into takeaway shop. This time is one of the important moments as they introduced “Golf Ball” Pineapple Tarts which became one of the best sellers until now. Their journey in giving the best pastry is still continuing until now through online shop as their newest strategy to sell these adorable pastries. 

The Product Selection

Le cafe Confectionery & Pastry knows very well that every occasion and mood will need a different type of pastry. That is why, they provide more than 20 menus to choose from Guo Da Li to the simple pastry to accompany your routinity or just chilling on a rainy day. Besides, they can make a cake based on a customer’s request for some occasion such as: 3D cake for birthday, wedding cake, and big celebration.

As there is no Halal certified in their products, however, they stated that all products contain No Pork. No Lard. By looking at their statement, the customer should not worry anymore about eating one of the delicious pastries in the country.

Le Cafe Confectionery & Pastry’s “Golf Ball” Tarts is still on the top rank of their best sellers for more than 30 years. As Singapore’s 1st Round Pineapple Tarts, it has been covered in the local or overseas press. They deserve to get this spotlight as they succeed to make the pineapple tarts taste buttery and crumble in its simplicity appearance. The Packaging

Most people say ‘Do not judge a book by its cover’, however, it cannot be denied that packaging is holding an important role in this field. Not only to attract people to buy it, but also related to its safety when it got delivered by the courier. Le Cafe Confectionery & Pastry provides some kinds of packaging based on the menus. Some of the menus are packed into food cartoon, while some are packed in toples or plastic mica food boxes. For special occasions such as CNY and Christmas, they offer what they called as ‘Premium Gift Box’ as it comes in elegant and sturdy design. 

Storage Information

Every product has a different length of storage duration and different ways to store it. As for “Golf Ball”, it must be eaten within 4 weeks from the day of purchase. While Moon Pies need to be consumed within 1 week after purchase. Both of them do not need to be put in the refrigerator. Meanwhile their Swiss rolls and Traditional Loaf Cakes need to be put in the refrigerator. If you want to buy their Mixed Bean Curd Tarts, you must pay more attention since you only have 2 – 3 days to consume it after purchase and need to be refrigerated. In conclusion, the duration and ways of storage are vary and it is much better if you pay attention to it before making an order.

Le Cafe Confectionery & Pastry announced that from now, they will sell their product through an online shop. You can still take a look at their menus and details on the website and Instagram for more updates. To place orders, you can directly make a call to their phone number. Some of the menus are made in limited quantities everyday so, making pre-orders are highly recommended. The delivery shipping fee may start from $35.00-$45.00 per trip depending on your location. They provide a free delivery if the orders exceed $540.00. Make sure to do the full payment through PayNow or Internet Bank transfers before the delivery date.

Pricing Information

The price for the menus are different due to its size, packaging, and quantity. You only need $11 to taste the “Golf Ball” (10 pcs). If you think 10 pcs of their delicious pineapple tarts are not enough, you can pay $21 for 20 pcs of it. The range price of the menus may vary from $7 to $38 for their premium gift box.
