After CNY 2026, we received many customer comments about the texture and consistency of our pineapple balls. We took every comment seriously and completely reviewed how our signature product is made.

In previous seasons, Ding Bakery offered two round pineapple-tart recipes: the Melt-in-Your-Mouth Pineapple Ball and the French Butter Pineapple Ball. For CNY 2027, we discontinued the separate French Butter Pineapple Ball and concentrated all our development on one Ding Bakery signature: the Melt-in-Your-Mouth Pineapple Ball.

The approved CNY 2027 recipe now uses:

• Lescure French butter;
• freshly sliced pineapples from a different source;
• upgraded production equipment; and
• tighter control over mixing, temperature, baking and cooling.

We have already refined the recipe using thousands of customer comments and taste-test responses. We are now working towards 10,000 verified customer tastings:

Each confirmed booking is assigned a 15-minute arrival window. This is your arrival period, not a private 15-minute appointment.

Your requested time is not confirmed immediately. Our team will review the available capacity and contact you within 24 hours with your confirmed arrival window. Please wait for our confirmation before travelling to VivoCity.

No. To prevent overcrowding at the booth, our team first checks the number of reservations already assigned to your selected arrival window. Within 24 hours, we will:

• confirm your requested slot; or
• offer you the nearest available alternative if it is full.

Please do not come down until you have received a confirmation message from our team.

Walk-in guests may scan the reservation QR code at VivoCity and request the next available window, but same-day availability is not guaranteed.

No. Being filmed is completely optional. You may attend the tasting, give your private feedback and receive your standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit without appearing on camera.

Guests who volunteer for a short Vivo interview answer only one or two simple questions, such as:

• Does it genuinely melt in your mouth?
• How would you describe the texture?

Past Ding Bakery customers may also be asked how the CNY 2027 recipe compares with the pineapple ball they tried previously. The interview takes approximately 20–40 seconds. There is no script, and you are not required to give a positive answer.

Vivo interview rewards

After completing the interview, you receive:

• the standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit; and
• an additional S$10 Creator Credit for the interview.

If Ding Bakery later selects your video for marketing use, you also receive S$80 cash. We will contact you and obtain your written approval before using a selected video. Cash payment is made through PayNow no later than 15 January 2027.

There are two optional ways to create content with Ding Bakery. No positive review is required for either.

Option 1: Short Vivo interview

After tasting the pineapple ball, you may volunteer for a natural 20–40 second interview at our VivoCity booth. You receive:

• the standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit;
• an additional S$10 Creator Credit; and
• S$80 cash, only if Ding Bakery selects your video for marketing use.

Option 2: Home Creator Kit

Home Creator Kits are offered only to selected guests who first attend the VivoCity tasting, genuinely enjoy the pineapple ball and still want to create content after tasting it. This ensures nobody is asked to create content for a product that does not suit their taste.

After tasting, tell our staff you are interested in creating a home video. Kits are limited and are not automatically issued to everyone who asks. Ding Bakery may select you if:

• you genuinely enjoy the pineapple ball;
• you remain interested in creating content after tasting it;
• you understand the video requirements;
• you can post and submit the video within seven days; and
• a Home Creator Kit is still available.

Selected Home Creators collect a complimentary presentation-ready kit from our VivoCity booth and may film at home, with family, in the office or at another suitable personal location. A valid submission must:

• be filmed vertically, preferably in 9:16 format;
• be approximately 20–45 seconds;
• show the product or packaging;
• show the pineapple ball being broken open;
• capture the first taste;
• give an honest opinion about the melt and texture;
• tag @cnygoodies.sg;
• disclose that the kit and reward were provided by Ding Bakery;
• be posted within seven days of kit collection; and
• include the original uncompressed video file.

After completing these requirements, the creator receives the complimentary kit, the standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit and an additional S$25 Creator Credit. If Ding Bakery selects the video for marketing use, the creator also receives S$200 cash.

Maximum Home Creator reward: S$10 Ding Festive Credit + S$25 Creator Credit + S$200 cash if selected, plus the complimentary kit.

The S$200 cash is not paid merely for submitting a video. It is paid only if Ding Bakery selects the content, contacts the creator and receives written usage approval.

Selected footage may be used in full or as a shortened, subtitled or stitched excerpt alongside other genuine customer reactions. Editing will not change the meaning of the creator’s comments. Selected September 2026 campaign videos are paid through PayNow no later than 15 January 2027.

Yes. Every unique verified participant who attends their confirmed tasting, tastes the pineapple ball and completes the one-minute questionnaire may choose one reward:

The selected credit is sent within three working days after your attendance and feedback are verified.

Conditions

• one standard credit per verified person;
• each participant must use a unique valid mobile number and email address;
• the credit may be used on one website only, not both;
• it cannot be stacked with another coupon;
• it cannot be exchanged for cash; and
• it expires on 31 December 2026.

You still receive the standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit even if your feedback is not positive. We want honest responses.

Tasting and reservations

• The free tasting runs from 9–24 September 2026 at VivoCity Atrium.
• Operating hours are 10am–10pm daily.
• Tasting is subject to confirmed slot availability and daily sample quantities.
• A submitted reservation request is not an immediate confirmation.
• Guests should wait for Ding Bakery’s confirmation before travelling to VivoCity.
• Each booking may include up to two tasters.
• Each verified participant receives one full CNY 2027 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Pineapple Ball.
• No purchase is required.
• Guests with food allergies should review the allergen information and speak to staff before tasting.

Feedback reward

• One standard S$10 Ding Festive Credit is available per unique verified participant.
• Attendance and questionnaire completion must be verified before a credit is issued.
• Participants must use a valid email address and mobile number.
• Each participant must choose either DingMooncake.com or CNYGoodies.sg. Credits cannot be redeemed on both websites.
• DingMooncake.com credit is S$10 off S$88. CNYGoodies.sg credit is S$10 off S$128.
• Credits cannot be stacked with another coupon or exchanged for cash.
• All campaign credits expire on 31 December 2026.

Vivo interviews

• Filmed interviews are optional.
• No positive review or scripted response is required.
• Participants who complete a valid Vivo interview receive an additional S$10 Creator Credit.

• Ding Bakery will contact the participant and obtain written usage approval before publishing selected footage.

Home Creator Kits

• Home Creator Kits are limited and not guaranteed.
• Kits are offered only to selected participants who first taste the product at VivoCity, genuinely enjoy it and still wish to create content.
• One kit may be issued per selected person or household.
• Selected creators must complete the stated posting, tagging, disclosure and file-submission requirements.
• The S$25 Creator Credit is issued only after valid content has been completed and verified.
• S$200 cash is paid only if Ding Bakery selects the video for marketing use.
• A positive opinion is not required. All comments must be genuine.

Content use and payment

• Selected content may be used in full or as an edited excerpt, and may be shortened, subtitled, resized or stitched with other genuine customer reactions.
• Editing will not change the meaning of the participant’s comments.
• Ding Bakery will contact selected creators and obtain written approval before publishing their content.
• Selected content may be used on Ding Bakery websites, emails, social channels and paid digital advertisements.
• Selected September 2026 campaign videos will be paid through PayNow no later than 15 January 2027.
• Recording or submitting a video does not automatically guarantee cash payment.

Ongoing creator recruitment

• Ding Bakery may continue recruiting creators after the VivoCity campaign.
• Future filming locations may include homes, offices, CNY booths and other official tasting venues.
• Future rewards, content requirements and payment amounts may differ from the September 2026 campaign.

Administration

• Ding Bakery may pause reservations if a day’s capacity or sample allocation has been reached.
• Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent or unverifiable submissions may be rejected.
• Personal information will be used to administer bookings, verify rewards and manage any creator or marketing communication separately consented to by the participant.
• Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn.
